Male Breast Correction (Gynecomastia)
Gynecomastia is the enlargement of breast tissue in men. It is a very common and often distressing condition, affecting approximately 60% of men according to research. It is usually associated with an increased amount of glandular tissue and fat accumulation in the chest area. This condition often causes discomfort and can have a negative impact on a man's self-confidence. With male breast correction surgery, this issue can be successfully resolved.

More about male breast correction surgery (gynecomastia)
Enlarged male breasts often cause embarrassment and discomfort, especially during warmer months, physical activities, or when choosing business attire. We successfully address this issue with various surgical techniques.
TECHNIQUES USED TO TREAT MALE GYNECOMASTIA
- Just like female breasts, male breasts consist of both fatty and glandular tissue. The choice of surgical technique depends on the composition of the breast:
- In breasts composed mostly of fat, gynecomastia correction can be performed using Vaser ultrasound-assisted liposuction.
- Any looseness in the skin can be treated with skin tightening using Renuvion technology.
- If the breasts are primarily made of firm, glandular tissue, the gland is removed through a discreet incision hidden along the edge of the areola, making it virtually invisible.
Gynecomastia correction is often performed in combination with body contouring using Vaser liposuction, which removes excess fat and restores a sharper, athletic appearance.
The procedure can be performed under local anesthesia or general anesthesia (if combined with other body contouring procedures). We recommend taking about one week off work, depending on your job, and wearing a compression vest regularly to help the skin adapt to the new shape.
