Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
It is a medical laser procedure that uses controlled fractional energy to stimulate skin renewal and collagen formation. After treatment the skin is smoother, firmer and more even.
The laser creates microscopic thermal columns in the skin. Between the treated points, tissue remains undamaged, which allows effective regeneration and faster healing.
The procedure can be somewhat uncomfortable. Before treatment we apply an anaesthetic cream. By agreement, the procedure can be performed in local anaesthesia. For more extensive or intensive therapies, sedation is also possible to increase comfort.
Redness and skin sensitivity are expected after the procedure. Peeling is common. Recovery usually lasts from a few days up to about one to two weeks, depending on the intensity of the therapy.
The first effect is noticeable once the skin has calmed. The final result develops gradually, as collagen production continues for several weeks to months after the procedure.
