Breast Augmentation with Motiva® Implants

The SmoothSilk® surface provides the lowest rate of potential complications, such as capsular contracture, double capsule, seroma, or anaplastic large-cell lymphoma.
Due to their flexibility, the implants can be inserted through a minimal incision, often just 3 cm in length (MinimalScar® technique).
Thanks to their unique properties, Motiva® implants can be placed above the muscle, while still achieving a natural look—resulting in faster and significantly less painful recovery.

PREPARATION AND PROCEDURE OF BREAST AUGMENTATION WITH BREAST IMPLANTS

Since the personal consultation with the surgeon is usually the first step toward a new, more beautiful bust, we ensure that the conversation is relaxed and honest. The first consultation typically lasts 1 hour, during which you will receive answers to all your questions. We’ll talk about implant shapes, surgical techniques, the procedure itself, recovery, and every detail of the process. To better visualize the final result, we use a 3D computer simulation that allows you to see different implant shapes and sizes. Additionally, we offer external silicone simulation implants, so you can preview your new bust in the mirror.

MEASUREMENTS AND SELECTION OF SUITABLE BREAST IMPLANTS

Since implant size is never chosen at random and not all sizes suit everyone, we pay great attention to taking precise measurements — including the breasts, chest width, and full body proportions — to determine the most suitable implant for you. While the implant width must match the measured width of the chest and breast base, we offer different implant projections (mini, demi, full, corse) to tailor the final look to your individual desires, considering your breast tissue properties.

WHY DO WE USE MOTIVA® BREAST IMPLANTS?

At Klinika Višnjar, we use only premium-quality breast implants. We work exclusively with Motiva® implants, which are among the most advanced and safest on the market. Motiva implants feature a SilkSurface® silky-smooth surface, made using 3D nanotechnology. This biocompatible surface reduces bacterial adhesion and friction, producing an anti-inflammatory effect. As a result, the risk of unwanted complications (biofilm, capsular contracture, double capsule, late seroma, BIA-ALCL, etc.) is significantly reduced.

BREAST AUGMENTATION PROCEDURE LASTS 2 HOURS

The breast augmentation procedure is performed under short general anesthesia. Postoperative recovery takes place in our clinic in a modern, well-equipped suite, where our professional staff will take care of you. A few hours after the procedure, you will be discharged to continue recovery at home.

Motiva implants are most often inserted through an extremely short incision in the breast fold using the ShortScar™ technique. The scar is usually only about 3 cm long. We believe that a short and nearly invisible scar greatly enhances the attractive appearance of the breasts. The implant can be placed either above or below the muscle, and in certain cases, we perform a hybrid breast augmentation technique, in which we use your own fat alongside the implant to achieve an optimal breast shape.

By adding fat to the upper part of the breast, we can emphasize the cleavage without using larger implants, or improve breast symmetry by precisely distributing the fat. The hybrid technique is often used for more active individuals who prefer not to place the implant under the muscle — resulting in shorter and simpler recovery.

RECOVERY AFTER BREAST AUGMENTATION WITH IMPLANTS

As with any surgical procedure, swelling and a feeling of tightness in the breast area are completely normal. Thanks to the special surgical techniques used at Klinika Višnjar, pain is minimal and usually described more as pressure or tightness due to the added volume. When the implant is placed above the muscle, recovery is significantly faster and less painful. The decision whether to place the implant above or below the muscle depends on your tissue. If the breasts are very small, we place the implant under the muscle layer to ensure a natural look. In the first few weeks after surgery, the upper part of the breasts may appear fuller, as the implants need time to settle into their final position. Swelling gradually subsides, and within a few months, the breasts reach their final shape and size.
