Lower Eyelid Correction (Blepharoplasty)
Dark circles and puffiness under the eyes can make your face appear tired.
With lower eyelid correction, or blepharoplasty, we successfully address these concerns by removing excess skin and fat pads from the lower eyelids.
This eyelid surgery reshapes the area around the eyes, eliminates signs of fatigue, and restores a healthy, youthful look to your face.

Frequently Asked Questions
Eyelid correction is one of the most common aesthetic procedures. The surgery is completely safe, and the results are predictable and long-lasting. If complications do occur, they are usually aesthetic — such as mild asymmetry or insufficient correction. Serious complications like bleeding, hematoma, infection, nerve damage, or ectropion are extremely rare.
The effect of eyelid correction is permanent, but the aging process continues and cannot be stopped. The results are visible for at least 10 years, after which the procedure may need to be repeated.
"For an attractive and rejuvenated appearance around the eyes, we most commonly perform upper blepharoplasty. If under-eye bags and excess skin on the lower eyelids are also present, we combine it with lower blepharoplasty.
Upper eyelids are most often corrected under local anesthesia, but if both upper and lower eyelids require correction, the procedure is performed under general anesthesia.
Fine sutures are removed no later than 10 days after the surgery, by which time most of the swelling has also subsided."
