Lip Enhancement
Aging causes changes in the lips that occur more quickly and noticeably than in other areas of the face. To create fuller lips, we use hyaluronic acid fillers, which not only restore volume to thin lips but also effectively reduce vertical lines around the lip border. This method rejuvenates the youthful appearance and fullness of the lips while enhancing the overall look of the face.

Frequently Asked Questions
There are far too many lips that are overly voluminous and poorly shaped. Anyone you allow to touch your lips with fillers must have a deep understanding of the anatomical subunits and features of attractive lips. Višnjar Aesthetic Clinic is well known for its refined sense of aesthetics, especially when it comes to lip enhancement.
A glass of wine a few hours after the procedure is unlikely to cause serious harm. However, alcohol is generally discouraged before and immediately after all aesthetic treatments. We recommend avoiding alcohol for at least 24 hours post-procedure. Alcohol dilates blood vessels, which may increase swelling, prolong recovery, and raise the risk of bruising.
“Duck lips” typically occur when too much filler is injected into the sides of the lips instead of the center. The sides become flattened, lose their natural curvature, and may hang over the lower lip. The upper lip should have a nicely defined — not flattened — Cupid’s bow, while the lower lip should show soft fullness on both sides. When it comes to lip design, the experience of the injector is more important than the brand of filler used.
Lips are most commonly enhanced using hyaluronic acid fillers, which provide the most beautiful and controlled results. The effects of lip augmentation typically last 4 to 8 months, depending on the client's metabolism and the product used. Lips can also be augmented using your own fat, but the effect is less predictable, as some of the fat naturally breaks down over time. This means the initial correction must be excessive. The results with fat transfer are permanent. However, permanent fillers must never be used for lip enhancement — they are extremely dangerous and only lead to permanent complications.
Swelling typically subsides within 2–3 days. If bruising occurs, it may last slightly longer. Swelling can be reduced by cooling, and bruises can be covered with lipstick.
The minimum age for lip augmentation is 18 years. We do not treat minors.
Permanent fillers bring permanent problems. Their behavior in the tissue is unpredictable. Injecting a new filler into an area with permanent filler can cause inflammation or foreign body reactions. The procedure is possible, but risks must be acknowledged and discussed openly with your surgeon.
When enhancing lips, it's crucial to respect their natural shape and highlight the areas that enhance their attractiveness. Accentuating the Cupid’s bow and the central heart-shaped portion of the upper lip gives a sensual and appealing look. In contrast, enhancing the sides too much or overfilling the upper lip often results in an artificial appearance. Since lips are such a visible and important feature, it’s essential to choose a trusted professional with a refined aesthetic sense.
